Description

A pleasant shaded area featuring routes that cater to a diverse group of climbers. The sector is equipped with ample bolts, particularly for those tackling lower grades. Climbers, especially those on belay duty, are strongly encouraged to wear helmets since this area is newly established and, due to the rock's characteristics, will never be entirely free of loose debris. The crag enjoys shade throughout the day from October to March. During the remaining months, sunlight reaches the crag at the following times: April-16:30, May-15:30, June-14:30, July-15:30, Aug-16:30, Sept-17:00

Description

A pleasant shaded area featuring routes that cater to a diverse group of climbers. The sector is equipped with ample bolts, particularly for those tackling lower grades. Climbers, especially those on belay duty, are highly recommended to wear helmets since this sector is relatively new and, owing to the rock's characteristics, will never be entirely 'clean'. From October to March, the crag remains shaded throughout the day. During the other months, the sun reaches the crag at the following times: April-16:30, May-15:30, June-14:30, July-15:30, Aug-16:30, Sept-17:00

Approach

You can park at the main Figols car park (flat carpark, suitable for vanlife - with spring water) and hike up the road to the trailhead. It takes 25 minutes to walk from the car park to the crag. If you have a 4x4 capable car it is possible to drive to the trailhead - people do it in other cars but you are really risking a puncture/damaging your car as the road is very rough in places.

History

This sector was developed by Nate Murphy in 2022-2023.
