The route developers have dedicated significant effort to ensure the safety of coastal climbing, utilizing primarily glue-in inox anchors or inox bolts on the seaside cliffs. However, it's crucial to remain vigilant as coastal climbing can be particularly hazardous; always consult the guidebooks for re-bolting dates. Given the high humidity during winters, there is also a focus on removing moss from certain routes in the spring, so please lend a hand when you can (while being mindful of any protected species).
A clean climbing movement is gaining traction, meaning that while some older areas may feature bolted cracks, modern crags typically allow for traditional climbing.
Overall, the local climbing community is generally welcoming, sharing their new developments and being kind to visitors, with only a few anecdotal exceptions in certain specific areas.
