Unique Features And Strengths
Short but powerful roof climbing in one of the few crags of Galicia that offer this kind of overhang.
Ethic
The route developers have dedicated considerable effort to ensuring the safety of coastal climbing, with the majority of bolts on seaside cliffs being glue-in inox anchors or inox bolts. However, always remain vigilant as coastal climbing can be particularly hazardous, and consult the guidebooks for re-bolting dates. Given the humid winters, some work is also done in spring to remove moss from certain routes, so please contribute when you can (without harming any protected species).
A clean climbing movement is gaining traction, meaning that while some older areas may feature bolted cracks, modern crags always accommodate trad climbing.
Generally, most local climbers are open to sharing their new developments and are welcoming to visitors, with only a few anecdotal exceptions in specific areas.
