Description

For bird protection reasons, Lauensteiner Kanzel, Große and Kleine Philipsklippe, and the Routes between "Extremist" and "Katerchen" at "Mäuerchen" are closed to climbing from February 1st to July 31st. In the case of late broods, extensions of individual closures until the end of August at the latest cannot be ruled out. Cliffs that have not been incubated are expected to be released towards the end of April, those that have been incubated after the young birds have fledged (usually between the end of June and the end of July). Current information can be found on the website of [IG Klettern Niedersachsen](https://ig-klettern-niedersachsen.de/sperrungen/).
