Approach
See directions to the main climbing areas from Gimmelwald. Starting from the bench / sign-post to "Klettergarten: follow the climbers' path uphill for 100m until it turns left and traverses under the base of the cliff. Instead of turning left follow the faint trail up and right until you reach the cliff base. Traverse rightwards through thick grass and an open area until you reach a fence. Cross this and arrive at the base of the slabs.
