Approach

From Unterjettenberg, follow B305 (Deutsche Alpenstraße) south for about 2 km. After crossing the Schwarzbach bridge, look for a pullout with parking after 500 m. Walk back 300 m, where forest road leads down to a bridge over the river. Cross the bridge, follow the track on its left bank ~100 m downstream. Look for some cairns denoting a faint path leading steep uphill southwest. At 800 m ASL, the path turns west and meets the larger path (Mittersteig) at 900 m ASL. Two options from here: a) Follow the Mittersteig NW. After crossing the gulch, turn uphill onto a small path again (see https://www.stadler-markus.de/alpinklettern/berchtesgaden/kletterroute/paula%27s-neue-welt.html) b) Follow it 40 m SE, and take the path uphill again (paint marks). After passing a hunter' stand, it leads to the gulch at the base of the cliff.

Descent Notes

The top of the cliff belongs to a military range, so rapelling is mostly needed.
