One of the major cliffs in Steinicht. Sunny, long south face with some steeper and more difficult routes.
The Nelkensteinwand has been the place of some of the early climbing activities in the valley. It boasts a lookout at its top.
The cliffs base is steeply sloping forest. Although posing no immediate danger of falling, it is a quite unsuitable place for kids or larger groups.
