Description
The sector to learn how to climb Via ferratas. The Via ferrata offers all grades, ranging from A/B to E. It is split up in 3 sectors (lower, middle and upper sector) with increasing difficulty the higher you go. It has two routes to the top, one on the left and one on the right. It is usually climbed clockwise, meaning you ascend on the left flank and descend on the right flank.
Approach
The Via ferrata is very close to the valley station of the Lünerseebahn. Park there and climb the unmarked gravel path to the base of the climbing wall clearly visible on the left side of the valley. Come early to secure a parking spot close to the wall, it gets very crowded on nice days, greatly increasing the approach.
