Access Issues
There are no specific seasonal closures reported, but as with most French crags, climbers are expected to respect the natural environment. At times, the area may be subject to fire risk or conservation measures, so climbers should check for local restrictions in advance. The approach and climbing area are considered child-friendly.
Ethic
The standard local climbing ethics apply: respect all flora and fauna, do not leave trash, and minimize noise. Bolting is modern and routes are well-equipped, but, as always in France, some sectors may have older anchors or variable distances between bolts. Chalk use should be moderate to minimize visual impact, and climbers are asked to respect ongoing conservation work in the Bois des Ayes biological reserve.
