Description
Nice long route, particularly well protected by sealed pins, on generally good, well-cleaned rock. Clever alpine-style route.
Approach
From the hut, take the footpath down the Entre la Reille valley to an altitude of around 2200 m, then leave it for an uphill traverse to reach the start of the route (marked with a large red dot), located at the right end of the large roof cutting horizontally across the entire slab.
Descent Notes
From the summit, follow the ledges and red marks towards the hut for 20 minutes, then make 3 abseils of 25 metres to reach the Entre la Reille (snow at the beginning of the season!) and climb back up to the hut; from the top of the route: 1¼h
Ethic
Always ask the local climbers before rebolting or modifying a local route.
A lot of stuff has been bolted by the Remy brothers, you'll find their contact in the local topo guide.
