The areas located to the west of Sant Joan are subject to a climbing prohibition from 31 December to 1 July. Additionally, there are indications that the installation of new routes is permitted provided that the Park is informed in advance. Certain sections of the escarpment are permanently off-limits for bird protection, specifically between L'Escletxa and el Trinquet; signs mark the precise limits.
