Description
The tough sector! This wall is heavily overhanging and only a few routes have been climbed so far, but there are several open projects, all of which are expected to be 7c or harder. The Museumsvæggen bottom is reached by climbing up a series of ladder steps from the bottom of the quarry. On the right side of the wall there is a shelf, Base Camp, from which some of the routes start. Base Camp can be reached from Museumsvæggen bottom via the route "The Way to Base Camp" (6b A0). From here there is an easy traverse over to the shelf Advanced Base Camp (ABC), which is the starting point for further routes. Both the Museum shelf and Base Camp can also be reached via abseiling from an abseiling anchor on the right side of the wall.
Access Issues
Beware that this is an active quarry. It's open for climbing any day after 7pm and all day in the weekends/ holidays.
Approach
Theres stairs and a rope to get to the plateau. From there you have to fight your way higher up.
Ethic
Dont leave trash. If you come to climb out of scheduled hours (before 7pm on a weekday), check out if there is any activity, before you go into the quarry (they do use dynamite and big machines in there).
