Description
Note* :
To safely climb route #17-18 you firstly have to clip the first bolt of route #16, once you start the traverse towards the first bolt of route #17-18 you will find yourself on an steady position to clip it before committing to the moves. Once clipped the first bolt of route #17-18 you can safely finish the traverse to the big hole with the ledge, when there your belayer must unclip the first bolt of route #16 and you can easily clip the second bolt of the route #17-18. After clipping the second bolt of route #17-18 it is recommended to unclip the first so you can avoid rope drag. It is also recommended that your belayer is clipped to the first bolt of route #16 for his own safety.
Note**: To avoid getting your rope wet when pulling it down from routes 16-17-18, if the quickdraws are still on and the rope runs through them its just a matter of pulling it as fast as possible. If the rope is only hanging by the anchor the trick is to get in a steady position some 5-7 meters away from the river and pull the rope slowly until 3-4 meters of it remain, once this happens you have to pull with all your strength the remaining rope towards your position in order to get it to "fly" to your direction.
