Unique Features And Strengths
Small but excellent crag within walking distance to the larger Fantasma crag. Water polished basalt at the bottom of many climbs makes for interesting routes.
Description
[Topo](http://www.cdcaverock.es/fotos/2010/04/el-hoyo.pdf).
Approach
Short approach (5-10 minutes walking) from parking lot at end of ca. 200m dirt road down from main road. Fantasma crag can be accessed from same parking lot.
Once you reach a steep downward chimney of rock there are anchors for a small (~7m) rappel in.
To exit, walk down the crag (away from the rappel) and on the left wall you will find fixed rebar providing an exit ladder to a path back.
This same path and exit ladder could be used to access the crag if you need to avoid the rappel for whatever reason. To do so, instead of approaching directly down in to the crevasse towards the rappel from the parking, take the path that leads you on the upper (left/northeast) edge of the crag until it descends to the fixed gear.
Ethic
Please keep the crags noise free and clean. Take your trash and toilet papers with you. Locals tend to bring dogs to the crag.
It is good manners to use your own gear at the anchors for lowering or setting up top-ropes. Use the anchor rings/carabiners only for the final lower-off after cleaning.
